Process of Dental Crowns
Unlike CEREC crowns, we fabricate most traditional crowns at an outside laboratory instead of in our office. As a result, it may take 1-2 weeks to receive your crown. Once the lab returns your crown, we will schedule another appointment for cementation.

A well-cared-for dental crown can last 5-8 years. However, this lifespan may vary depending on factors such as teeth grinding, medications, and other individual circumstances.

Insurance Coverage for Dental Crowns
Most dental insurance plans offer coverage for full-coverage crowns. To confirm your coverage, contact our office. We’ll send a pre-determination to your insurer so you can understand your policy before we begin the process.
